Kyle is a Pokémon trainer who is a son of Ham, a dojo trainer.

He works on a local noodle shop in Saffron City and is forced to run the Dojo Gym by his father. He refuses and he challenged him to a match to see if he would run it or not. When Team Rocket interrupted to steal Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan, Terry used Hitmontop to save them. They blasted off again with Pikachu's Thunderbolt.
