Typhlosion (Japanese: バクフーン Bakphoon) is a Fire-type Pokémon.

Typhlosion's name is a combination of typhoon and explosion. The first three syllables of its Japanese name spells 爆風 bakufū, blast.
The appearance of this Pokémon is based on the wolverine.

Typlosion's first appeared in The Legend of Thunder! special. It was Jimmy's main Pokémon.
The Volcano Pokémon also appeared in AG055 under the ownership of Old Man Moore, Flannery's grandfather.
