Manaphy (Japanese: マナフィ Manaphy) is a legendary Water-type Pokémon, first appearing in Generation IV. Manaphy is not directly obtainable in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl.

Manaphy's ability is Moist Body, which heals a status effect (Burn, Paralyze, Sleep, Poison, Freeze) when Manaphy is in play during rain.

It is comparable to Celebi and Jirachi, but more so to Mew, both for its place in the regional Pokédex list, identical base stats and its inability to be caught during normal gameplay. Unlike them, however, Manaphy does not fall under the Psychic-type group; it also has the unprecedented ability to breed, though the offspring is a Phione. Interestingly, Manaphy is joined by Sheimi this generation, which is not a Psychic-type Pokémon, either. Manaphy is the last Pokémon in the Shin'ō Pokédex, yet in the National Pokédex in Generation IV, it appears before Sheimi which is not even the very last.
