The GB Player is an item obtainable in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver Versions. After the player has defeated the Elite Four, they can recieve it from one of the Game Freak employees in Celadon Mansion. It allows the player to change the game's background music to the original 8-bit tracks from Gold and Silver.
