Damp (Japanese: しめりけ Moisture) is an ability introduced in Generation III. Eight Pokémon have this ability, all of them Template:Type2.
Effect
In battle
Damp prevents self-destruction. Therefore, the moves Selfdestruct and Explosion cannot be used. Also, the ability Aftermath will not activate. If Selfdestruct or Explosion are selected, the attack will be rendered useless upon execution and nothing will happen.
Oustide of battle
Damp has no effect outside of battle.
