Sayer (Japanese: the Master) is a recurring character in the Pokémon anime. He is voiced by 松本大 Dai Matsumoto in Japanese and Herb Lawrence in English.

Sayer is a resident of Twinleaf Town who first appeared in Strategy Begins at Home!. He is also the coordinator of the Twinleaf Town Festival. He hired Team Rocket to fish for Goldeen so that they could be given out as prizes during the festival.

In Historical Mystery Tour!, he had Brock run one of his booths. He also was the referree for the Battle Tournament in Challenging a Towering Figure!.
