Compoundeyes (Japanese: ふくがん Compound Eyes) is an ability introduced in Generation III. Four Pokémon have this ability, all of them Template:Type2.
Effect
In battle
Compoundeyes raises accuracy by 30% in battles.
Outside of battle
In Pokémon Emerald and all subsequent games, this ability increases the chance of finding a Pokémon holding an item by 50% in the wild, if the Pokémon with the ability leads the party, even if it has fainted.

In the anime
Venonat: Venonat scans the surrounding area and focuses on the target.
- Activated by Tracey's Venonat in The Lost Lapras, The Crystal Onix, and Pokémon Water War. At this point in the anime, abilities did not yet exist in the games, but this had a very similar effect. Tracey called it "Radar Eye".
