Solid Rock (Japanese: ハードロック Hard Rock) is an ability introduced in Generation IV. Only two Pokémon have this ability, both of which have one or more double weaknesses. Both Pokémon are also in the Ground egg group.
Effect
In battle
Solid Rock reduces super effective damage. A move that is super effective (x2) will instead deal 1.33x normal damage, and a move that is super effective (x4) will instead deal 2.66x normal damage.
Outside of battle
Solid Rock has no effect outside of battle.
