Bill's grandfather is a minor, non-playable character who is featured in the Generation I and II games, as well as the Generation III remakes of the Generation I games. He is also in the Generation IV remakes of Pokémon Gold and Silver.
In Generations I and III, he can be found living in Fuchsia City with his granddaughter, Bill's sister Daisy. In Generation IV, he can be found in Bill's house, near Cerulean City.
In Generations II and IV, he plays a more pivotal role to the plot, providing evolution stones in exchange for being shown certain Pokémon. This is one of the few ways to attain evolution stones in the Generation II games.
