The é can be accessed by holding Alt and typing either 130 or 0233 on a Windows computer, and by using Option + e, then e again on a Mac. Otherwise, you can easily click it in the character palette below the editbox. The word Poké Ball is spelled as two words. The "Poké" part is identical to the four beginning letters in "Pokémon"; "Ball" is spelled with a capital B. The spelling "Pokéball" arises frequently, but is incorrect. The word "you" and all forms of it should not be used on encyclopedic pages unless it is a quote from Pokémon or other media. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, not a walkthrough. On talk pages, please sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). The use of link templates is official policy. If you happen to spot a vandal in the recent changes that has not been dealt with, please see this page for how to deal with it. A list of pages that are linked to, but have not been created, can be found at this page. A list of short articles that may require more information can be found here, while a list of articles that need improvement can be found here. For a future capture, release, trade, or evolution of a Pokémon belonging to a main character of the anime, please do not create or move the page to reflect your suspicions, even if they are shared by many others. Image uploading is done on Bulbagarden Archives, a separate wiki accessible through the toolbox in the sidebar. This is done so that both Bulbapedia and Bulbanews have access to the images uploaded. To activate your account at the Archives and Bulbanews, please login there using the same username and password you use here on Bulbapedia. If you want to make a page about a character you made up, please create it at User:Werdnae/(name), not merely (name). I couldn't hep but notice that you seem to have reverted my edits on Aron because I was using the plural tense when a group of that Pokémon was mentioned. Um, when referring to a group of things, you use plurals. I did that because the article didn't. Sometimes you see one user's comments under a section header on the other's talk page, and the other user posts all their comments on the first user's talk page, so there is only half of the conversation on each page, making it harder to follow. When referring to talk pages for mainspace pages it doesn't matter so much (in my opinion), as the conversation at least tends to stay in chunks. Having a quick look through the list and it seems that is the only mistake. I think it was the way I recorded them before editing your page all in one go. Dark Boye 21:44, 31 October 2009 (UTC) Pastoria City Hey, I'm not sure what was wrong with the way the rival boxes were aligned because I put it up in different resolutions to see the difference. It only stretches if you open all 3 of the boxes, which I doubt someone will do since most likely you only need to see the one that corresponds to your starter Pokémon. This same type of alignment is being used in the walkthroughs as well, as most people agreed that it looked better and saved time scrolling down. --—♥ Jello 20:08, 16 January 2010 (UTC) Okay, I'll change it back then. The problem with trivia like that is it becomes trivia for the sake of trivia, and the page ends up a list of trivia about every minute detail about the sprites. Personally, I agree with your assesment of the physiology section, that it should be removed, but you'll need to take it up with an admin. You will find that Magnemite follows the weaknesses but it combines the weaknesses and resistances so that some will be amplified and others will be nullified. I figured that this would be the case, that Amity Square's item list would not merit its own template, but I was lazy to do it manually and the existing table is a huge mess. It depends on rowspan for its layout, which depends on the number of items in the list (correct me if I'm wrong), so maintaining the list will be a huge pain. My template will use nested tables, which won't need updating as the number of items in each list changes. However, should the template be subject to deletion once its finished, it can be substituted on the Amity Square page and deleted with minimal effort. I've made a test here and the infobox needs to work for the Ranger regions as well, and they only require those sections. To hide the sections just leave the parameter out completely. If it is there but left blank I think it still includes the section. I've removed the defaults, so now it will hide unless the information is there. The collapsible table can be replaced by <div class="userbox"> (Insert usertags here) </div> for simplicity if you like. For the colours and other more complicated stuff, I'd suggest copying the code to your userpage, preview it to make sure it's all there, remove something, and see what changes. That way you can learn what the coding does so you can get it just how you want it. Just remember to keep previewing until it looks exactly how you want it, so you only need to save the page once, and to keep the Userspace policy in mind. Could you please take a look at my attempt at redesigning the game infobox template? The talk page there has some tests I (and Takharii) have performed with the template. ^_^ And there's actually something I need help with... It's with the ratings and release dates sections. I've inserted the #if: command for the Korean ratings and dates as to make it optional, but when I attempt to insert Korean data in my test examples, that part is ignored and no Korean data shows up. =X ポケモンあいこうか 14:07, 7 July 2010 (UTC) I've fixed it. The if statement needs three different sections: the parameter (which you had), what to display if it isn't empty, and what to display. Since you just had the parameter, there was nothing for it to display when the parameter was there. I've asked a few other admins about it, and we think it looks pretty good. TTE says to reduce the size and collapse the internal borders. I can do that if you like. Just let me know. I've done that. As for the japanese boxart layout, I think having it collapsed like that is a good idea. I'll run it past the others and see what they think, although I'd say that the third boxart definitely needs to disappear when not required, the others it's probably a good idea. Also, I need your help into making that sub-template optional as well as the 2nd and 3rd boxarts. ポケモンあいこうか 17:47, 29 July 2010 (UTC) I think that must have been because the {{{jbox}}} parameter was being used for two different purposes. For the number of different boxes For the location of the first boxart image So when it was used to call the image, it broke the maths, as it was trying to use a string as a number, and when used as a number it didn't call the image. I've switched it to using straight ifs, instead of ifexprs, using just the parameters that were there. So {{{jbox}}} is the first art, {{{jbox2}}} is the second one and {{{jbox3}}} is the third one. Only the ones that are used are shown, and if none are used (If, for example, we don't have the English boxart yet, and so the jap boxart is up the top) the whole lot disappears. In Japan, the words "komori uta" mean lullaby in English, and when taking out the "ro" in Koromori's name, it says "Komori". Does this mean that Koromori will have some type of abillity or move related to the sleep condition? I just felt this was interesting to know. Thank you for reading this; NoMoreHeroes488 It's possible, but Dogasu said on the forums that it is likely based on the "bat" meaning of komori. I'd suggest asking in the thread about it on the forums, where you'll likely get a better response. There's a special function called "rollback", which reverts all edits by a single user to the last version that someone else saved, but I'm afraid it's admin only, so you'll need to do it manually. It also doesn't allow edit summaries, which is why there's never any extra information. Especially on high-use templates, as editing them causes server stress as it is updated everywhere it is used, so we'd rather know that the edit was going to be an improvement so that we don't then have to edit it again. It was good that you tested it first though, that's just what we would have got you to do anyway. I don't have any experience working with templates. Is there a page that lists what templates are used on Pokémon pages, or should I just copy the information from one of the other Pokémon pages and make the necessary changes to it? Remember to follow the instructions on the talk page and don't categorise, except for the "New Pokémon" category, which that template adds by default, until it's mainspaced. In order to create your user page, you have to make a certain number of edits to the mainspace (any Bulbapedia article) and wait some time. I don't find the word... unpolite or something:D The idea for not saying an exact number is that it will prevent people making just that number of mainspace edits (i.e. to pages without a prefix) and then over-editing the userspace, and also encourages new users to learn to make constructive edits. And the signature timestamps all use the server time, i.e. UTC, rather than local time. (And I'm ahead of you. I'm currently at UTC + 12, so you made that comment at just after 10am on the 26th for me. Not that it matters really.) The history of the page says that Beadull was the trademarked romanisation, but the other admins can't find an actual entry in a trademark database. Most other sites seem to be using Beadull though, so it must have come from somewhere.
