Heatproof (Japanese: たいねつ Heatproof) is an ability introduced in Generation IV. Two Pokémon have this ability, both in the same evolutionary line.

Effect

In battle

Heatproof halves the damage done by Template:Type2 attacks and the Burn status ailment.

Outside of battle

Heatproof has no effect outside of battle.
