Hareta is the main character of Pocket Monsters DP and the adopted son of Professor Rowan. He is losely based on Lukas, although his hair is very different. Hareta is an energetic and athletic young boy who likes playing with wild Pokémon. He has the ability to easily communicate with Pokémon, so he lived in a forest with them for four years. Rowan eventually contacted him again when he wanted Hareta's assistance in finding Dialga.
