I really want to remove the references to the "three wise monkeys" motif from the articles an all three and their evolutions. It's not reflected in any of their sprites or official art, and it really seems like stretching to me. Unless there's an official source that confirms this, I'd say it's way too speculative. :Pansage has its mouth open like it's trying to speak. Pansear is holding its hand up to its ears trying to hear you. Panpour is the only one who has the "eyes closed" style. Pokemon can have multiple origins you know....Besides...I only added them to their base forms...never associated them with their evolutions [[User:Ataro|Ataro]] 06:36, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

Hair

Uh-oh. Another hair discussion. But really, I couldn't help but notice that Yanakkie, Baokkie, and Hiyakkie's "hair styles" look similar to Dent, Pod, and Corn's, respectively. I know we had a problem with this with Team Galactic, but I think this is a different story. Dent, Pod, and Corn actually use the pre-evolved forms of these Pokémon.

Example. Yanakkie has a tuft of "hair" in the front and the back, just like Dent does. Pod has wavy flame-like hair similar to Baokkie and Corn has parted hair like Hiyakkie.

I realize that this is technically an opinion, but I wouldn't bring it up if I wasn't sure that Dent, Pod, and Corn's designs were somewhat inspired by the elemental monkeys. It's kinda similar to Baron Alberto. Anyone else agree with this? --ケンジガール 05:42, 14 November 2010 (UTC)

English names confirmed

From Serebii: Pansage, Pansear and Panpour. Will we wait for more reliable confirmation?----無限の知性DENNOUZENSHI 21:05, 24 December 2010 (UTC)

Serebii? Of course we'll wait for a better source. TheChrisD RantsEdits 21:07, 24 December 2010 (UTC)

Does this Mean anything?. It looks to me like it's true guys. But you know, whatever, Bulbapedia probably needs more concrete confirmation. --samm -- 22:42, 24 December 2010 (UTC)

Ooh, a full scan. Nice. Makes it more authentic, but it'd be better to have an update from Pokémon.com or something. —darklordtrom 22:51, 24 December 2010 (UTC)
Yup, something a bit more official, or at least something a bit more high-res just for ideal confirmation would be ideal. TheChrisD RantsEdits 23:29, 24 December 2010 (UTC)
I say it's confirmed, as I've held those same display boxes with my own two hands in the Redmond, WA Gamestop, and those were the names on the box. I am Darth Mewtwo... Fear me, and my team made entirely of Mewtwo!!! 00:20, 6 January 2011 (UTC)

Three wise monkeys (not)

I really want to remove the references to the "three wise monkeys" motif from the articles an all three and their evolutions. It's not reflected in any of their sprites or official art, and it really seems like stretching to me. Unless there's an official source that confirms this, I'd say it's way too speculative.
