**The way it's wrote on the Zorua article hints it's the same since it's wrote under "Zorua (movie 13)" section: "Zorua (movie 13) - Zorua is set to make its anime appearance in BW040." if that info isn't confirmed or it's incorrect then someone should fix it. 2 and 3, the episode title is "Zorua The Movie! The Legend of the Pokémon Knight!!" and it's a fact that the Zorua of the movie was an Unova resident (thought this last one is most likely to be the case of every living Zorua).[[User:LurKasumi|LurKasumi]] 10:48, 5 June 2011 (UTC) |

Gender
I keep trying to revert edits so that this article states that Zorua's gender is unknown. If you know something I don't, tell me, and provide a source, but DO NOT post speculation.--Skulblaka Shurtugal 00:39, 21 July 2010 (UTC)
- As far as speculation goes, I think you could pretty much say the same thing about the fact that this article says Zorua was taken from Isshu to Crown City. They never once mention in the movie that Zorua/Zoroark's homeland is "Isshu," however it's being assumed here based on the games. I would go as far as to say that that would put Zorua's gender at around the same level of speculation as saying it's homeland is Isshu in the movie. As was mentioned in the brief editwar on the page, the in-game event pictures as found on the movie website depict Zorua's in-game event counterpart as being a male, which would put the movie Zorua as male. Further supporting the thought that the in-game event genders are set to the movie would be shown by Zoroark, who is female in the event and also Zorua's mother in the movie. If we really want to cut out speculation, and the event depicting Zorua as a male isn't good enough, then I suggest we also change their homeland from being called "Isshu" to being something reflecting that it is an unnamed land. Just a thought... :p (Yaminokame 17:49, 21 July 2010 (UTC))
- I support Yaminokame. Even though you have removed the 'confirmed male' Yanappu of Dent, before, you did put it as confirmed male because of its ingame event Egg Yanappu, which was a part of the tree main anime characters Pokemon, which was male. If we want to be safe, then let Zorua be unknown, but on the other hand, then Zorua is ALSO confirmed as male because of the ingame event Zorua, just like Yanappu is confirmed as male. --Mattii 14:32, 25 December 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, it did say that Zorua was male in the movie. When Zoroark cancelled her illusion, Kodai looks at his broken illusion canceller and says, "When he bit me." (Holonboy 22:50, 16 April 2011 (UTC))
Telepathy?
When the gang meets Zorua, Brock said that Zorua can speak with the help of Telepathy. Is that the Telepathy ability that Brock was talking about or something else? If yes then how is it possible when Zorua's ability is illusion? Thanks ♫♪AdyNiz♪♫ 16:04, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
- "Telepathy" here doesn't mean the ability Telepathy, it just means Pokémon can talk with human by unusual means. Several Pokémon can use this kind of telepathy, including Shaymin in Movie 11. --Swampert 18:58, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
- It's just the one pokemon talks with telepathy a movie thing Ataro 19:10, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
Maa?
I don't know from where the writers have taken the word Maa but in Urdu language, the word Maa means mother and since Zoroark was the mother of Zorua in the movie, can we include this thing in the article? ♫♪AdyNiz♪♫ 09:28, 21 December 2010 (UTC)
Zorua's illusions
should it be noted that Zorua could easily 'change' into any pokemon (such as Vigroth, Scizor and even Celebi) but struggled to change into a human (as its tail always stuck out when it was 'human' and that when its tail was pulled it'd change back)? could it also be noted that Zorua's 'transformations' didn't possess any of the pokemon's abilities (such as Celebi's ability to fly not actual pokemon abilities) but could 'use' their attacks (used when defending Celebi as a Tangrowth)? Bite?
Since Zorua bit Kodai and messed up his illusion canceler, does that count as the move Bite or would it just be him regularly biting something? Namiinana 18:13, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
- Just a regular bite Ataro 18:15, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
Howl?
There's a scene near the big tree where zorua howls. Could this be the move? S and T 06:47, 12 February 2011 (UTC)
- Just like biting doesn't mean Bite, howling doesn't mean Howl. Reign 06:51, 12 February 2011 (UTC)
Gender Disputes
A lot of fans are a little confused on Zorua's gender in the movie. Most of them say that the Zorua is an 'it' since his voice is almost a mixture between a girl's and a boy's voice. Though the game stated and confirmed that the Zorua acquired from the special Celebi event is 'Male'. -- Aura24 18:47, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
- Actually, it did say that Zorua was male in the movie. When Zoroark cancelled her illusion, Kodai looks at his broken illusion canceller and says, "When he bit me." I was rewatching the movie just now on CN, and that's what the subtitles say, and I heard it too. (Holonboy 22:48, 16 April 2011 (UTC))
- Actually Kodai said "it" when he was referring to Zorua in the english dub. The english dub never confirmed Zoroark and Zorua's gender. -- Aura24 18:47, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
