The Battle Box is a built in feature of Pokémon Black and White and allows the user to compete with six, user-determined, Pokémon over the Pokémon Global Link and may also be accessed for choosing Pokémon to participate in the Battle Subway. The user may access the Battle Box through the PC. Once the user of the Battle Box registers their Pokémon team for a competition, they are unable to change their Battle Box.
While using the Infrared Connection on the C-Gear feature, if the battle option is chosen, you will be given the option to either use your party Pokémon or the Pokémon in your Battle Box.
