Tangelo Island (Japanese: ボンタン島 Bontan Island) is located in the south-westernmost region of the Orange Archipelago. Many young trainers begin their journeys here.
Tangelo Island is a very popular tourist destination, and is home to Pokémon Park, the "world's first Pokémon theme park." The island also has a giant docking point for cruise ships.
Ash, Misty and Pikachu visit the island when they crash land in Pokémon Park and are promptly swamped by camera-toting tourists. He later meets Tracey and his Lapras.
