Typebattle template title "Resist" is mathematically inaccurate with current values.
http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Template:Typebattle
Saying resist is mathematically incorrect if you keep the numbers as multiplication values.
Its valid for the 1/2x part since when you resist half the damage you take the other half.
However you are not resisting 2x the damage. That would be the same as resisting 200% of the attack. Resisting 100% or more would result in taking no damage at all. Resisting 0% would mean that you are resisting no damage and therefore taking 100% of the initial amount.
If you want to stick with the values being multipliers to the original attack i would recommend you to use another word like multiplyer, power or effectiveness.

- You're right, resist is wrong there. I changed it to power so it matched the other half of the template. Thanks for pointing it out. Werdnae (talk) 21:06, 8 June 2012 (UTC)
If you're not busy
Is it okay to use the HP bar on my talk page? PattyMan 22:04, 8 June 2012 (UTC)
- Sure. Werdnae (talk) 22:55, 8 June 2012 (UTC)
- I'm going to create one on my own page. PattyMan 23:05, 8 June 2012 (UTC)
Here
Here and here. One says Pokémon Yellow, while another says In Ruby or In Sapphire, etc. Which would be the most correct?----DJWolfy 12:46, 13 June 2012 (UTC)
- Thing is, James has only appeared in Pokémon Yellow, where as Team Aqua has appeared in Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald. So in this case, it's fine the way it is.--ForceFire 12:52, 13 June 2012 (UTC)
- No, I meant as a general thing. Not specifically referring to these articles.----DJWolfy 12:56, 13 June 2012 (UTC)
- Also here, there 3 examples.----DJWolfy 13:48, 13 June 2012 (UTC)
- As I said when you last brought it up: "I'd say they don't all need to be the same. It depends more on the layout and phrasing of the sections." Werdnae (talk) 21:57, 13 June 2012 (UTC)
- I know what you said. That's why I ask how exactly it depends and I thought I should give you some examples.----DJWolfy 21:58, 13 June 2012 (UTC)
- Would you mind if we leave this until after B2W2? I'm kinda busy with that and non-Bulba stuff just at the moment, so I don't really have time to look into everything properly and therefore give a quality answer. Werdnae (talk) 00:03, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
Sure, why not. Just tell me when to remind you of it.----DJWolfy 11:42, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
possible multiple accounts
DerangedChillen and DementedChillen look like they could be the same user. G50 09:41, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
- Yep, you're right. Thanks for letting me know. Werdnae (talk) 10:05, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
- You're Welcome. G50 10:05, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
BW parameter
I changed it to the GenV parameter because when I previewed it with the BW one, it gave me a tiny dot for no reason. PattyMan 22:49, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
- Clear your cache. The parameter was just added to the template, looks like you were still getting a cached version. Werdnae (talk) 22:56, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
Entries
You probably can't translate them, but maybe you can write them? It took me few minutes just to get characters of location's Japanese name >_> ...so these will take much longer, especially as there is three - Sewaddle, Mareep and Flaaffy. Marked +-+-+ (talk) 07:25, 26 June 2012 (UTC)
- Not a clue, sorry. Werdnae (talk) 07:30, 26 June 2012 (UTC)
- I do not ask to translate them, just to write them down to articles, as it is too much of pain for me. Marked +-+-+ (talk) 07:50, 26 June 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah. I don't know how to type them either. Werdnae (talk) 07:53, 26 June 2012 (UTC)
WarlordInfoBox Template
With Oichi and Nobunga being brother and sister in the Pokémon Conquest game, would it be possible to have relatives added to the template? G50 05:27, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
- I was unsure whether to add that or leave it for the body. I've added it to the template, but it'll only show up if the "Relatives" parameter is set. Werdnae (talk) 05:40, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
okay G50 05:42, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
Conquest moves
Can Conquest be added to (not sure of the name) template to be able to add a move description to the Pokémon pages? G50 04:09, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
- Template:Movedescentry? If so, done. Set the first parameter to "Conquest". Werdnae (talk) 04:46, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
- Is it also possible for you to make it so I can add Conquest next to BW? A lot of the moves have the same description as the BW ones. --It's Funktastic~! (talk) 05:10, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
- BWConquest. Werdnae (talk) 05:17, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
Dispute
Jo The Marten And I Are Having An Argument. Are People Allowed To Put Pokemon Templates On Mystery Dungeon Pages? Badjb10 (talk) 02:00, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
- Pokemon templates should only be used like that where there is something special about the Pokemon (Abnormal ability, abnormal moveset, etc.). There is absolutely nothing different between that Drowzee and any other wild level 12 Drowzee. It is therefore unnecessary to provide that extra information. The entry in the list is enough. Werdnae (talk) 04:23, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
In That Case, What Is The Point Of The Templates On Amp Plains tribes, The Pokemon On The Templates There Are No Different Then Any Other Of Their Species And Level. Badjb10 (talk) 04:54, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
- Because that's not a location article. It doesn't have a list. Werdnae (talk) 05:00, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
It Shouldn't Matter That It's A Location Page. The Point Of Pages Like That Are To Make It Easy For Players To Gather Information From. Badjb10 (talk) 05:21, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
- .Drowzee (Explorers of Time, Darkness, and Sky) That page is about Drowzee. As such, it has the full description, including the template. Mt. Bristle is about the location, and as such has to provide information on many Pokemon. Thus the information given on each is less so that the page is not bogged down with information which is, quite frankly, unnecessary. Werdnae (talk) 05:29, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
Well, It Was A Common Mistake That I Made, Especially Since There Was No Link To Drowzee (Explorers of Time, Darkness, and Sky) On Mt. Bristle.
