Reel Time
Could someone explain how the Reel Time bonus works? When I play, occasionally I get a picture of a Pikachu with a machine with scrolling numbers, but the machine comes up zero and nothing happens.
- Slot machine#Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. How Reel Time works, as far as I know, is listed there. --Shiningpikablu252 17:30, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
Odds
Does getting more lightning bolts improve your odds? I've maxed out the lightning power, and only then did I start getting big bonuses. (I got 2 in about 50 plays.) Funny, though, I haven't had a single Reel Time. Ztobor 15:12, 27 January 2010 (UTC)
Reel Time unanswered questions
Just a note - there are still ambiguities about how Reel Time works:
- When the reels speed up, are they prevented from slipping? That would make the "maximum" more plausible for someone that really has good timing.
- If the reels are slow, and the player wins something other than a regular bonus, do the wheels speed up or stay slow?
- If the reels are fast, and the player wins a minor prize, do the wheels slow down or stay sped up?
