:::Yes we did (for the name of the article; it had to be titled ''something''). So why do you seem to be insisting the name is Reverse, if there's no concrete proof that it's Rebirth or Reverse? KG's right: リバース can literally translate into either or (Kingdom Hearts CoM had this issue). That said, just because we opted for Rebirth now doesn't mean that we'll still call it "(Japanese: '''リバースマウンテン''' ''Rebirth Mountain'')" if it's English name is Reverse Mountain or something close to 'reverse'; we'll leave it if the English name is Rebirth/something similar. That portion of the article is what I was referring to being corrected. ::::I'm not insisting in that it's will be /exactly/ Reverse but if it's an ambiguous name those entries would have to state that too, as I initially thought it was the definitive translation before checking another sites. when I went through the cave in Black 2, I found a Toxic Orb instead of a Flame Orb. I don't wanna add Flame Orb as only White 2 because I don't know if it's truly version exclusive, or if I just didn't find it. --It's Funktastic~! (talk) 05:06, 12 July 2012 (UTC)

Translation of the name?

Whis is this not translated as "Reverse Mountain"? Most of the the sources translate Rebasu (リ バース) as 'Reverse' instead of 'Rebirth'. --Master Emerald (talk) 15:01, 27 August 2012 (UTC)

The Japanese name of the mountain is rather ambiguous. It can be written as both rebirth and reverse. But considering that it's a dormant volcano showing signs of activity, it's more likely to be rebirth. Besides the English name would be out soon, it would be better to wait for it to be revealed. --超龍Chao 15:19, 27 August 2012 (UTC)

But the mountain 'reverses' between games Water and Lava. In Pokémon Black2 having a water cave called Rebirth Mountain doesn't make any sense! --Master Emerald (talk) 18:11, 27 August 2012 (UTC)

I personally believe it is Reverse Mountain cause of the whole contrasting themes with these games. But like Chao said, it's best to just wait for the English version since it's coming out in a month and two weeks.
I've also looked up リバース on the net and it's seems fifty-fifty on being either Reverse or Rebirth. --ケンジガール 22:43, 27 August 2012 (UTC)

When I said 'most of the sources' I was talking about Pokémon pages (that didn't take their names from Bulbapedia. --Master Emerald (talk) 20:24, 28 August 2012 (UTC)

But it doesn't matter what 'most sources' say, because as you admit, they're other Pokémon pages and likely equally fan-run. What they are not is proof, working on either their own assumption or someone else's. Without confirmation from the /real source/ (the makers), we do not, and should not, need to heed to the general consensus just because 'the majority says so, so it must be true'. When we get the English name, we should have a better understanding of what the Japanese name is meant to be, and not what everyone is currently guessing it to be (be it correct or not), and the name can be righted or left alone at that point. Ruby/Sapphire refrence

Is it notable to add the refrence to Ruby and Sapphire with thw Water/Magma parts of the mountain? Iml908 (talk) 21:38, 28 August 2012 (UTC)

No, as it is too speculative.--ForceFire 01:52, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
Im not refrencing the possible RS remakes, im refrencing the original games themselves, and how they had the whole Magma vs Aqua thing going on. Iml908 (talk) 23:52, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
