Trivia

  • Croagunk's English name was released on 13th February 2007, along with numerous other names, as "Croalurk" due to the poor quality of the image. It was later officialy revealed to be Croagunk.
  • Croagunk is able to learn X-Scissor even though it doesn't have claws or scythes.

Origin

Croagunk may have been based on the poison dart frog.

Name origin

Croagunk is probably a combination of croak and gunk. The Japanese name comes kerokero, the Japanese onomatopoeia for a frog's croaking, and gerogero, the Japanese word that's used to describe something disgusting.
