Release information
This card was released as a promotional card. In Japan, it was released through the Parent/Child Mega Battle tournament held in May 1998. The prize was awarded to those parent and children teams who had reached a certain number of wins. The card was never released in English.
Trivia
- This card is widely considered to be one of the most attractive early promos. It is considered to be one of the original "Holy Grails" of Pokémon card collecting along with other early rarities.
- This card is one of few promotional cards to feature the original Pocket Monsters Trading Card Game logo as a set symbol. This symbol is usually reserved for only the rarest of Pokémon cards.
Origin
Dizzy Punch and Mega Punch are both moves in the Pokémon games that Kangaskhan can learn. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue.
