(Japanese: 神速のゲノセク Extreme Speed Genesect) is the third Best Wishes series movie and the sixteenth Pokémon movie overall. It will be released in Japan on July 13, 2013.
The movie is set to feature the Paleozoic Pokémon Genesect in a prominent role. It was first officially revealed in a teaser trailer at the end of M15, which showed Genesect flying around a wasteland before unfolding and firing its cannon. On December 13, 2012, a new trailer was revealed by Oha Suta showing a normally-colored Genesect flying around a city before being overtaken by a Shiny Genesect, which then lands on top of a skyscraper and begins glowing.

Trivia
- The setting for this film is based on New York City, including Central Park. Director Kunihiko Yuyama has stated that this is due to his desire to create a contrast between the ancient Genesect and a setting that embraces technology and civilization.
