Trivia

Oddish's Japanese Pokédex entry references Arukimendesu. This can either be seen as a corruption of Archimedes, the Greek mathematician, or as a direct reference to a popular Japanese instant noodles brand Archimendes that literally means instant noodles on the go. The latter may reference Oddish's appearance when walking.

Origin

Stun Spore is a move in the Pokémon games that Oddish can learn. This card's English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, whereas the Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
