Plus (Japanese: プラス Plus) is an Ability introduced in Generation III. Seven Pokémon are known to have this Ability. Prior to Generation V, it was the signature Ability of Plusle.

Effect

In battle

Generations III and IV

When a Pokémon with Plus enters a Double Battle and has an ally with Minus, the Special Attack stat of the Pokémon with Plus increases by 50%.

Generation V

Plus now raises the user's Special Attack stat by 50% when it enters a Double or Triple Battle and has an ally that has Plus or Minus.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon

A Pokémon with this Ability will receive a 50% bonus to Special Attack if an allied Pokémon has Minus.

Outside of battle

Plus has no effect outside of battle.
