Meteor Cave (Japanese: いんせきの どうくつ Meteorite Cave) is a dungeon in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team. It is home to Deoxys. Only one Pokémon is allowed to enter, and only money is found in the dungeon. Only three items may be carried at once. However, if the player has a held item, a fourth item may be carried.
Meteor Cave was created when rocks from the destroyed meteor crashed into a mountain. The morning after Lugia is recruited from Silver Trench, Blastoise reports discovering the cave to Xatu, who then gives the cave its name. The partner then suggests the rescue team investigates it.
One random Deoxys-type is created on every floor when the leader enters: Attack, Speed, or Defense. The random Deoxys must be defeated to unlock the stairs down. The Normal Deoxys is on the 20th floor, and it is the only one that can be recruited. After Deoxys is recruited, the player gains access to the Template:L Friend Area.
Floors 1-5 are slightly dark, while floors 6-19 are very dark.
