Ability
Goronda can have Mold Breaker in addition to Iron Fist--Lemonade Mouth (talk) 07:34, 11 July 2013 (UTC)
- Seems Mold Breaker was added, yet it still shows Iron Fist only. Berrenta (talk) 16:16, 11 July 2013 (UTC)
Where does it say that it has Mold Breaker? Dialgafan1 (talk) 23:57, 12 July 2013 (UTC)
Again, off by an inch.
Snorlax's 6'11" and 2.1m... Goronda is 6'10" and 2.1m. What's with this? Marked +-+-+ (talk) 10:15, 11 July 2013 (UTC) Oh wait... Marked +-+-+ (talk) 10:25, 11 July 2013 (UTC)

Origin
Based off a giant panda, like its pre-evolution. CoolDudeAl (talk) 00:28, 12 July 2013 (UTC)
Although this is so far considered a speculation, It could also be based off the comic superhero, Batman, having the Dark-typing, intimidating features, and back fur that resembles not just a fur coat, but also a cape. According to what we know so far about it's personality, it can be safe to say it fights for good. - unsigned comment from AuraShaman00002 (talk • contribs)
- There's nothing suggesting that. It's your standard Japanese delinquent with a good heart. The fur is meant to be a coat. Ataro (talk) 08:42, 14 July 2013 (UTC)
I can understand your opinion, but can you please give the chance to find the connection between the two? Besides, this is just an opinion I felt should be mentioned. - unsigned comment from AuraShaman00002 (talk • contribs)
- I did and found nothing. It's not even a bat; just a panda. Also, sign your comments with four tildes. (~ these things) Ataro (talk) 10:57, 14 July 2013 (UTC)
No English name
The no English names category needs to be added because Goronda was just revealed in a japanese Coro Coro magazine and no English source says it's going to be Goronda, in fact it contradicts with the rumored name of "Pangoro" which was started by the same guy who leaked the entire Gen V Pokédex and the Fairy Type. Since we need to wait and not wait for some guy who's predictions come true, we'll need to add the Pokémon without english names category. SeanWheeler (talk) 00:44, 12 July 2013 (UTC)
Never mind. It seems Pokémon.com updated quickly. SeanWheeler (talk) 15:33, 12 July 2013 (UTC)
English name origin
Its English name seems to be derived the same way as its Japanese name from 'Gorogoro' and 'Panda'
Now we know its English name the origin should be mentioned. Benjabby (talk) 16:20, 12 July 2013 (UTC)
Possibly also a reference to Goro from Mortal Kombat. Takkupanda (talk) 13:40, 19 July 2013 (UTC)
Appearance?
Besides being a giant panda, Pangoro also seems to take a bit of visual inspiration from the typical delinquent stock character you see in a lot of anime and manga- the fur on its back makes it look like it's wearing an overly long coat, and the bamboo in its mouth kind of looks like a toothpick. All it needs is a ridiculous pompadour, and it'd be all set.
Just putting it out there. Kwanzaabot (talk) 00:09, 13 July 2013 (UTC)
- A banchō [1]? Yeah, now that you mention it, I definitely see the resemblance. Its typing fits that archetype well, too. Lucentas (talk) 00:44, 13 July 2013 (UTC)
Behavior
"Pangoro won't let people bully the weak." DookieShed's words. CrazyMagmar (talk) 20:58, 19 July 2013 (UTC)
