Western Cave (Japanese: にしの どうくつ Western Cave) is a dungeon in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon:Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team. It is home to Mewtwo and contains 99 floors.
Western Cave is unlocked by recruiting Ho-Oh from Mt. Faraway. The next day, Blastoise will have news of a new dugeon in a cave off to the west, one that is extremely hard and wiped him out. You will then get permission to travel to western cave.
Keys can randomly be found on the ground. These are needed to obtain certain items in different dungeons. One is required in the Western Cave to obtain the Beauty Scarf (an item to evolve Feebas) from behind a locked door on B59F. You can also find Vitamins on the ground and in the Kecleon Shop. (Only Vitamins which permanently boost you Attack, Defense, Sp. Attk. and Sp. Def.)
There is a chance of finding Kecleon Shops from B30F onwards. There are no hidden items.
To enter this dungeon, the team must have a Pokémon with the move Surf or have the HM Surf.

Trivia
- The name is a reference to Cerulean Cave, due to the cave being in the west, having Mewtwo at the end of the dungeon, and the need of Surf for the player to get to the cave.
- Every member of Team A.C.T. can be found here.
- Every fully evolved Starter Pokémon up until Generation III can be found here.
