::::Don't worry about it. {{m|Echo Voice}} is pretty similar, but it sounds even less like a Fairy move than this one. If you figure out which one, make sure to post it on the talk page. Thanks for the heads up, though, even if you were mistaken. --[[User:WyndFox|<span>Wynd</span>]] [[User talk:WyndFox|<span>Fox</span>]] 05:06, 31 October 2013 (UTC) |

You guys sure "Cannon" isn't a better translation...Malake256 06:01, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
- I believe it means "canon" as in the musical term - if i may quote dictionary.com: "consistent, note-for-note imitation of one melodic line by another, in which the second line starts after the first." --ZestyCactus 06:26, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
- Definitely. Just look at the Pokémon which learn it by level up—all of them are musically-oriented. --AndyPKMN 11:53, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
Difference between Canon and Echo Voice
I'm confused as to what the difference is between the moves Canon and Echo Voice, if there is any besides base power. Can someone please clarify this?--RiverAura 02:59, 9 January 2011 (UTC)
- The biggest difference I can find is the turn order clause--if one Pokémon on your team uses Canon and you have your other Pokémon queued up to use it as well, the slower Pokémon will go after the fastest Pokémon on your side regardless of turn order. This means it should ignore statuses like paralysis and Trick Room, which change speed or turn order, respectively. Phantom♫Junkie 16:29, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
So basically
In a triple battle with three normal type pokemon, you give the fastest one a choice scarf and the other two choice specs, and then have all of them spam this, you can deal 720 power to each enemy per turn? (120 + (120 * specs) + (120 * specs)) * STAB --Pyritie 02:03, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
Which pokemon can learn this?
I only ask because the picture shows a Mareep and Mareep isn't in the list for Pokemon that can learn it. Also, Swoobat in the anime pictures. And there are none in the TM list Theviolinkid 16:24, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
This move got retconned you guys
Just thought I'd mention that Round got retconned to Fairy-type in X and Y. There was a typo in-game that made it appear to be Normal-type, but it's actually Fairy-type.--BigBadBatter (talk) 01:07, 30 October 2013 (UTC)
- This is incorrect. I just used it against a Roggenrolla to test, and it was not very effective. That means it could be Normal, Flying, Poison, or Fire. But not Fairy. And considering it was Normal last generation, and appears to be Normal this generation...anyway, I'll try to confirm further. --Wynd Fox 03:01, 30 October 2013 (UTC)
- Okay, it also doesn't affect Golett. That means it's Normal, which was probably obvious to everyone from the start. Oh well. --Wynd Fox 03:12, 30 October 2013 (UTC)
