Reina

(Japanese: レイナ Reina) is a minor recurring character in Pokémon Origins.

History

Reina first appears in PO02, where she meets Red at Mr. Fuji's Pokémon House. She explains to Red who Mr. Fuji is and what the Pokémon House is for. She also tells him about an orphaned Cubone whose mother was killed by Team Rocket. After finding out that Mr. Fuji was being held captive in the Pokémon Tower, she tries to think of a way to rescue him. When the townspeople state that they are too scared of Team Rocket and the ghosts inside to rescue Mr. Fuji, she berates everyone for being too cowardly.

Later, she hears Cubone going crazy inside its playpen and goes to check up on it. However, once she unlocks the door, Cubone escapes and runs off into the Pokémon Tower. She follows Cubone and helps keep it calm when it confronts Team Rocket inside the tower. After Team Rocket is ran out, she sees Red off alongside the townspeople.

In PO04, she worriedly informs Mr. Fuji that Red has gone to face Mewtwo inside Cerulean Cave. When Mr. Fuji worries that Red might not be able to win, she gasps in fear.
