SmashWiki is a wiki devoted to the Super Smash Bros. series of games.
History
Founded sometime around 2006, the wiki was initially two wikis. The first one was founded by Kirby King on SmashBoards, who hosted it using the biggest Super Smash Bros. site, besides the official site. The second was founded on Wikia by Alexir55. Due to Gideon selling his site, the two wikis merged into one big Wikia one on November 23, 2008. The wikis once again went their separate ways in September 2010, when Porplemontage moved SmashWiki to its current domain, with the Wikia one now being called SmashWikia. SmashWiki became a full member of the Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance on October 29, 2010.
