Mr. Gold (Japanese: ゴールド Gold) is a character of the day in An Epic Defense Force!. He is the president of Pokéstar Studios and the main producer behind a lot of successful movies. He approached Ash, Iris, Cilan and Luke after he heard their conversation about entering the film competition. He encouraged Luke to make a beautiful movie.
After the movies made by the contestants were shown, Mr. Gold handed over the prize for the best movie, which went to Luke. He commented to Luke that his movie was filled with a lot of love and that he looked forward to his next movie.
