Using the Good Rod, I've only encountered lv 35 Poliwhirl (which at first I thought was a rare event but seven or so down the line, that's all there was). Has anyone ever seen a lv 25 Poliwhirl with the Good Rod? They're still lv 35 using the Super Rod (and so is Whiscash), Poliwag are still lv 15 with the Old Rod, and Barboach are lv 25 with the Good Rod. Poliwhirl
Puddles
While I was editing the marsh tile page, I noticed that in the tables on this page (and Kalos Route 19 for that matter), wild Pokemon are said to be encountered in "puddles." However, I think this area would be best described as more of a marshy area since the player can get stuck, which better fits with the description on the marsh tile page rather than the one on the puddle page. According to the puddle page, actually, they don't even appear in Gen VI, so either the marsh tile and puddle articles need to be edited to reflect these pages, or this page and the Route 19 page need to be changed. (I don't know if the template itself would have to be changed for that to allow an option for marshy areas or what because I'm not the best when it comes to templates.) slimey01 17:16, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
- It's a bit of a variation on what came before, but I'd say it is indeed, practically speaking, marsh (tiles). (Marsh and swamp are apparently mostly differentiated by having just grass and stuff vs having trees. So the ground itself is basically the same.) Tiddlywinks (talk) 02:53, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for fixing that :) Could you also take a look and fix Kalos Route 19 too? I tried doing it myself by just copying what you'd done here but it didn't work for me. slimey01 14:43, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
