Release information
In Japan, this card was released for McDonald's promotional campaign in July 2005. A Cosmos Holofoil version of the English print was available in the EX Dragon Frontiers Two Pack Blisters, released in April 2007.
Trivia
While the card is similar to the Pikachu card from Jungle, it is not a reprint of that card. The key difference is in the attack costs: this card's attack cost is , while the Jungle Pikachu's attack cost is .
Origin
Spark is a move in the Pokémon games; however, Pikachu cannot learn it.
