Monopoly: Pokémon Kanto Edition is a special edition of the classic Monopoly game adapted towards Pokémon, focused on the Kanto region, and is a remake of the 1999 edition. It was released on September 15, 2014. It has the SKU USOMN101000.
Changes from the original Monopoly
- The currency is the Pokémon Dollar ($).
- Professor Oak and Trainer Battle spaces and cards replace chance and Community Chest spaces and cards, respectively
- The four original types of Poké Balls, in ascending order of power, replace the railroads.
- Blue Attacks and Team Rocket Attacks spaces replace the Income Tax and Luxury Tax spaces, respectively.
- Zapdos and Articuno replace the Electric Company and Water Works spaces respectively.
