So, how would ring target work with the ability Wonder Guard? Does it simply make the immune moves (aka normal and fighting) hit for 1x damage, making them ineffective against Shedinja OR does it take every immunity granted by Wonder Guard and make Shedinja vulnerable? Curious trivia
In at least Generation III, attempting to use a Normal or Fighting-type move on a Shedinja will yield "Shedinja avoided damage with Wonder Guard!" despite that the move would not be expected to have an effect on Shedinja's Ghost typing anyway.
In at least Generation VI, the game instead declares "It doesn't affect Shedinja...", with the type immunity taking priority over Wonder Guard.
I haven't tested what the games say in Gen IV or V, or if there are any further implications of the change in messages displayed. --Stratelier 07:38, 29 March 2014 (UTC)

Wonder Guard + Ring Target
