Welcome to Bulbapedia, Charlie! | |
By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

Thank you, and have a good time editing here! |
{{Battrio Expansions}}
Hi, thanks for your contribution at Bulbapedia, but please remember next time that, before proposing a template for mainspacing, (other than giving a meaningful purpose to it) check that there aren't any bugs to it (like those <noinclude> tags shown in there, they broke your template). Now I fixed it and it's usable again. This is not a warning, but a friendly reminder. Thank you. Masatoshitalk 02:22, 17 September 2012 (UTC)
- I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to cause you any extra work! I just copied and pasted from another template and I thought I got it all worked out. Sorry. --Charlie (talk) 02:33, 17 September 2012 (UTC)
Redirecting
Creating redirects to nonexistent pages is rather pointless, so please refrain from doing so in the future. Thanks, --Pokemaster97 21:36, 8 April 2013 (UTC)
Delete template on spambot pages
Just so you know, it's not necessary to put delete templates on spambot pages. Staff members see them pretty quickly, and they'll get rid of them. Thank you for helping out! --It's Funktastic~!話してください 22:01, 26 September 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you, but I did it because there are times where there is lack of coverage between staff so it's to provide a way for them to find it if it's lost in the RC.-- Charlie (talk) 22:34, 26 September 2013 (UTC)
Orre Colosseum moveset
Just wondering, the moveset you added here for Hunter Greel's Gardevoir is illegal — is this a case of the games getting moves wrong, or was it a copy/paste error?--Cold (talk) 02:36, 13 February 2014 (UTC)
All those decks...
Thank you for all your hard work so far. Those deck pages look awesome :) I have the Team Rocket and Gym Challenge books myself but I have been lazy to finish the pages XD --ZestyCactus 19:50, 27 February 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you :). I really appreciate it considering the Fossil guide has like three sections for all these decks ;A; --Charlie (talk) 19:57, 27 February 2014 (UTC)
Editing other people's Namespaces
I noticed you edited my "Decks" sub article on my namespace. I am currently, as I have time, making a Porydonk deck list on said namespace; which is why it is incomplete and why I am doing it on my namespace. The edit you made was not a problem to me, but to other people it may be. I understand that your edit was of complete innocence and you were simply trying to help me, BUT it is against the rules.
Each user has a corresponding page in the User namespace, which is linked to from edit histories, watchlists, recent changes, etc; wherever an individual user is uniquely identified.
This page, and subpages of it, can be used by users to record information about themselves or to test and draft new content. Pages of the form "User:UserName/Foo.js" or "User:UserName/Foo.css" can only be edited by the user themselves or by administrators. This information can be found in the "Help"
I am not personally upset with your edit, as it saved me a minor amount of time, I just don't want you to get in trouble. --Sivart345 01:13, 6 July 2014 (UTC)
- Actually, you misinterpreted that. Any userspace that is User:UserName/Foo.js or User:UserName/Foo.css can only be edited by the user themselves or admins. Though in general, users should be editing other users userpages unless it is to fix an error.--ForceFire 01:32, 6 July 2014 (UTC)
- Its only ok if you are fixing a redlink or something else that interferes in the technical aspect of the website. Simple mistakes like forgetting a "{" is not impacting the website and should not be changed. Yes, he did fix a redlink (allowed) but he did not need to "fix" any other stuff. Also, ForceFire, I believe you mean users should not be editing. --Sivart345 03:49, 6 July 2014 (UTC)
Past/present tense
Hello. Just to clarify, could you please explain this edit? In your edit summary you said "It should be past tense", but instead you changed it into present tense. If the edit summary you made was a mistake; it's actually correct. Most articles on anime characters, be it human or Pokémon, are actually supposed to be in past-tense (especially the "History section" of anime Pokémon articles). Please keep this in mind for future edits. Thanks. ☼ BlazingFist ☼ 23:10, 7 August 2014 (UTC)
Sceptilite/Swampertite
Could you please give a link to the page where you found the names of Sceptile's and Swampert's Mega Stones? The only thing I could find pertaining to the edit summary you gave, "Pokemon.com's Ultimate Moves page", is this page: http://www.pokemonrubysapphire.com/en-us/pokemon/starter-pokemon/ultimate-moves, but unless I missed something, it doesn't mention "Sceptilite" nor "Swampertite" anywhere. ☼ BlazingFist ☼ 19:06, 14 October 2014 (UTC)
Deck lists
The setlist template is for sets. Decks that don't have a numbering system use the decklist template. glikglak 21:29, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
- Oh thank god, I was going to ask Nate what the difference was between them. --Charlie (talk | edits) 21:43, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
- No. (number) vs Quantity is the difference. Number specifically refers to the number on the card, which is why quantity is used for how many are in the deck. Also, when you're going through the GB decks, check if cards are part of the Promotional Card set, as they don't have rarities in the game. glikglak 21:53, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
Don't forget to put the Japanese names of the decks on their pages. glikglak 01:14, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
