Revision as of 21:25, 10 December 2016

So recently I attempted at making an edit to this move's Trivia section and I was unaware of the Trivia Policy written by Force Fire, therefore I am now making this discussion entry for my case. There are two additions I want done to this move's Trivia: Have a "the" added into the existing point / Include the statement "Karate Chop is the only Fighting-type move with a power of 50." The first statement is for the sake of grammar, since the action described has already happened and is one of four moves in total that were changed between Gen I and Gen II. The second statement is objectively true, it is the only Fighting-type move with such a power number. I would like to see it added since, as the policy by Force Fire reads, "Trivia is a collection of insignificant or obscure items, details, or information - little known or rare facts.". This second statement is definately a case of obscure information, that has actual value for competitive-minded people that want to know what value rare moves have compared to more common moves, since Karate Chop is a move known only by 11 Pokémon (non-fully evolved ones included). --Avalanche Mouse (talk) 21:17, 10 December 2016 (UTC)

Clarification of the "the" edit

Just to clarify, the current format is:

"Karate Chop is one of four moves..."

and my point is that it should be written as:

"Karate Chop is one of the four moves..." --Avalanche Mouse (talk) 21:24, 10 December 2016 (UTC)
