Shields Down (Japanese: リミットシールド Limit Shield) is an Ability introduced in Generation VII. It is the signature Ability of Minior.

Reason: Interaction with Mold Breaker/Turboblaze/Terravolt, Poison Touch Sunsteel Strike, Role Play, Gastro Acid, Simple Beam, Worry Seed, Entrainment, Skill Swap, Mummy and Pokémon other than Minior (via Transform/Imposter), what happens if it gets a status condition in Core Form, then restores HP and goes to Meteor Form

In battle

At the start of battle or at the end of a turn, if Minior's HP is above half, it will change into its Meteor Form. At the end of the turn, if its HP is below half, it will change back to its Core Form.

In Meteor Form, it has high Defense and Special Defense and cannot be afflicted by status conditions. In Core Form, it has high Attack, Special Attack, and Speed.

Shields Down cannot be transferred with Skill Swap or copied with Trace. It cannot be suppressed by Gastro Acid or changed by Worry Seed.

Outside of battle

It is unknown if Shields Down has an effect outside of battle.
