A mat is a type of item exclusive to Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald used to decorate the player's Secret Base. They seem to be the Generation III equivalents of carpets.
Small Mats
These eleven mats have special effects when the player steps on them:
C Low Note Mat - plays C note - $500- D Note Mat - plays D note - $500
- E Note Mat - plays E note - $500
- F Note Mat - plays F note - $500
- G Note Mat - plays G note - $500
- A Note Mat - plays A note - $500
- B Note Mat - plays B note - $500
- C High Note Mat - plays C note - $500
Glitter Mat - glitters - $2000
Jump Mat - makes you jump in place - $2000
Spin Mat - makes you spin in place - $2000
