This card was included in the Emerging Powers expansion, first released in the Japanese Black Collection. It was subsequently reprinted in the Battle Theme Deck: Victini, the Master Deck Build Box EX, and the Mewtwo vs Genesect Deck Kit in Japanese. It was later released in the English Legendary Treasures expansion.

Crushing Hammer was reprinted during the XY Series in the English Kalos Starter Set with new artwork by 5ban Graphics, first released in the Japanese XY Beginning Set. This print was later included in the Japanese Yveltal Half Deck, in the English Generations expansion, and in the Japanese BREAK Starter Pack.
