The Expedition Base Set print includes Dot Code strips for use with the e-Reader, and has the card ID B-59-#. The short strip contains a brief card summary, and information on the content of the long strip.

The long strip contains data for the self-contained Duel Timer 1 supplement.
Release information
This card was released in the Expedition Base Set, first originating from the Japanese Base Expansion Pack. It was later reprinted in the EX Unseen Forces expansion, originating from the Japanese Golden Sky, Silvery Ocean expansion, with a full-frame view of the same artwork. It was reprinted again in the Japanese Meganium Constructed Starter Deck, Typhlosion Constructed Starter Deck, and Feraligatr Constructed Starter Deck and in the English EX Dragon Frontiers expansion, originating from the Japanese Imprison! Gardevoir ex Constructed Standard Deck and Shockwave! Tyranitar ex Constructed Standard Deck.
It was reprinted in the English HeartGold & SoulSilver expansion, originating from the Japanese HeartGold Collection, with new artwork by the same artist. In Japan, a holographic version of this print was reprinted as one of the L-P Promotional cards and was awarded to those who participated in and won battles in the Pokémon Card Game LEGEND Battle in September 2009. This print has the Pokémon Card Game LEGEND logo in the top right of the illustration and the HeartGold Collection logo on the bottom left. It was later reprinted in Japanese in both decks of the Leafeon vs Metagross Expert Deck, the Blastoise Starter Deck of the Battle Starter Decks, the Steelix Constructed Standard Deck, and the Tyranitar Constructed Standard Deck. It was again reprinted in the English Gyarados Half Deck of the HS Trainer Kit and the Call of Legends expansion.
