Fighting Back the Tears! (Japanese: 泣かないでヒドイデ! Don't Cry, Hidoide!) is the 58th episode of the Sun & Moon series, and the 997th episode of the Pokémon anime. It first aired in Japan on January 18, 2018 and in the United States on May 19, 2018.
Blurb
It’s a most unusual love triangle when James’s Mareanie encounters another Mareanie that just happens to be its former mentor and first love. This other Mareanie swiftly becomes jealous of the affection that Team Rocket’s Mareanie feels for James, so it evolves into Toxapex to give James a severe dose of poison. When the poison-addled James wonders aloud if his Mareanie would be better off with Toxapex, Mareanie overhears and runs away in sorrow. Can James mend Mareanie’s broken heart and fend off an angry Toxapex?
