Bloomingvale is an anime-exclusive town in Johto between Violet City and Azalea Town.

Bloomingvale is famous for its Sunflora and was featured in Grin to Win when the citizens are holding their annual Sunflora contest just as Ash and friends are stopping by on a very hot day.

Bloomingvale is a warm, hilly area with many houses and the sun shines almost every day. It is the perfect place to raise Sunflora. Most of the Trainers in Bloomingvale have Sunflora, and they train them all year for the Sunflora contest in various ways such as tanning, weight lifting, and keeping them happy.

The Sunflora contest is held every year to showcase the Trainers' Sunflora. The grand prize is a one-year supply of instant noodles.
