Signing
Please remember to always sign your comments. You can sign your comments with 4 tildes (~) or clicking the signature stamp () on the top of the edit box. It should also be noted that once your comment has been marked as unsigned, you cannot replace it with your signature as it will give off the wrong time stamp. Thank you for taking your time to read this message, have a good day. - unsigned comment from Force Fire (talk • contribs)
- Again, please sign your comments with four tildes or by clicking the signature button above the edit box. Thank you. - unsigned comment from Force Fire (talk • contribs)
Sources
Please provide a link or an image to your source, don't just say it. Show, don't tell.--ForceFire 14:42, 26 August 2015 (UTC)
Not easy as the info came by PM from GummiYummy who is in email contact with her --BigDocFan (talk) 15:04, 26 August 2015 (UTC)
- Then ask him for photo evidence. Don't just believe everything he says.--ForceFire 15:41, 26 August 2015 (UTC)
Unsigned
Please don't re-sign and unsigned signature, it will give off the wrong timestamp. Manually typing in the correst timestamp won't do either. So if you're comment has been marked as unsigned, just leave it.--ForceFire 16:25, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
My apologies, I am trying to help out here so sorry for any errors --BigDocFan (talk) 16:31, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
M18 Cast
Did you get permission from Force Fire to post it? Technickal (talk) 17:21, 26 December 2015 (UTC)
Not too sure there Technickal sir, sent him an email the other but unsure, do you have a user account on the forum, perhaps I can PM you it with the cast list--BigDocFan (talk) 19:59, 26 December 2015 (UTC)
- I did get an email, you said the screencap was too big. So I sent you another emailing saying to split the screencap in two if it's too big. Haven't gotten your response yet.--ForceFire 03:46, 27 December 2015 (UTC)
Don't seem to have received any email from you but then again, i'm not sure how, I should explain I have aspergers syndrome so might not understand things as easily as you but sent you an email with 3 screenshots of the email I got from Theresa, the first having her email address visible--BigDocFan (talk) 11:28, 27 December 2015 (UTC)
- You didn't get my email? strange. Anyways, the screenshots are better, you may add the information.--ForceFire 12:50, 27 December 2015 (UTC)
VA sources
Once more, if you are adding English voice actors, you must attest a source, always. Please try not to forget. Thank you. Tiddlywinks (talk) 15:14, 2 June 2016 (UTC)
English actor suggestion
If you find the English actor of Sliggoo and Heliolisk, let me know which website to go.--CoolPokéGuy (Talk) 17:32, 16 August 2016 (UTC)
Userspace limits
Hello. I have noticed that you have been editing the User:
namespace a lot recently, and have made a total of 4+ userspace edits today. Please do not edit the userspace any more, as the userspace policy limits the amount you can edit your userpage: No more than three edits per day (by UTC), and you must contribute to the mainspace more than you edit your user page(s). This policy was instated to promote people helping out in the mainspace, and also to control strain on our servers. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, after all, so help us out by contributing to some articles before coming back to your personal page(s). The more often you edit in the mainspace, the more you will be allowed to edit your user page(s). Thank you. --Berrenta (talk) 20:14, 20 August 2016 (UTC)
Succeed
Thanks for finding the English actor for Sliggoo and Goodra. I knew it was Tom Wayland, but nobody didn't believe. And I was having trouble finding a source and contacting him.--CoolPokéGuy (Talk) 12:56, 11 September 2016 (UTC)
- You're welcome, I had a feeling it was Tom Wayland as well but thought I would wait until Goodra's return before enquiring with Lisa Ortiz--BigDocFan (talk) 13:06, 11 September 2016 (UTC)
Subpages
Hello! I noticed you have a list of voice actors in your user page, and while this is not at all a problem, I thought I'd inform you that you can create subpages of your user page for things like this--e.g., User:BigDocFan/List of VAs would be a good place to put a list of voice actors, if you'd prefer not to clutter up your userpage. User subpages, if intended to be put in the mainspace, are also candidates for exemption from the userspace edit limit (though they are only candidates, and you have to get permission from an editorial board member, I believe, for exemption). Just thought I'd let you know in case you didn't! --Felthry (F.K.A. Xolroc) (talk) 18:34, 18 January 2017 (UTC)
- I didn't know how to create subpages, thank you so much, I would hate to get in trouble with admin--BigDocFan (talk) 18:35, 18 January 2017 (UTC)
Link templates
I've seen you using link templates before, so I think you already know what they are. I just wanted to remind you to make use of them when appropriate ({{p|Dragonite}}
instead of [[Dragonite]]
), and to let you know about templates that you might not be aware of: {{Ash}}
for linking directly to Ash Ketchum, {{MTR}}
for linking directly to Meowth (Team Rocket) (no TR template needed!), and {{an}}
for linking to character pages with the (anime) suffix. Thanks!--Cold (talk) 15:45, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
- Guess there are some areas that I am still learning.--BigDocFan (talk) 17:02, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
- Attention. This a another reminder to use link templates when appropriate. Ataro (talk) 21:53, 30 June 2017 (UTC)
Re:Cleanup
For example, you don't use commas when they would be needed, you tend to make quite a lot of grammatical errors, and overall, the synopsis you write tend to be in pretty rough English. You should ALWAYS use the preview button to make sure you don't do any mistakes you could avoid. For example, earlier today you wrote that Gladion kept his Umbreon inside an Ultra Ball, even thought its Lycanroc seen coming out of the ball. Also, your edit at Continental Crush felt rushed and incomplete. Don't start making edits you know you can't do properly or fully. PS. I may be rambling a bit here, the quality of your edits has just gotten on my nerves multiple times. But I guess you're still just learning. Let's hope you'll get better as time goes on. Hopefully... --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 13:15, 18 May 2017 (UTC)
- I do apologize about my not so good edits, when it comes to new episodes, I start from looking at pics posted on Serebii which don't always tell a clear story, doesn't help that I have aspergers when it comes to grammar--BigDocFan (talk) 13:17, 18 May 2017 (UTC)
- I'm an Asperger too, but I've learned to do my edits more carefully and properly. I once did so many edits to same pages in a short time that I was on a forced preview for several years. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 14:18, 18 May 2017 (UTC)
Characters
Please don't create pages of characters that have not debuted yet, even if you aren't around to create them. That is not a good enough reason. Playerking95 (talk) 08:03, 25 May 2017 (UTC)
Notability requirements
Please familiarize yourself with the notability requirements. A Pokémon needs to do more than just appear twice to be noted, it must have some sort of impact on the plot. The Garden Pokémon had no impact on the plot, they just appeared. Thank you.--ForceFire 00:07, 17 June 2017 (UTC)
Who voiced Chesnaught in M19?
Hi BigDoc, I was making a list of characters/actors for M19 and I noticed that you put both Suzy Myers and Billy Bob Thompson as Chesnaught. Did they both voice Chesnaught, or was this a mistake?
- Probably a mistake but strangely the cast list for Suzy Myers and Billy Bob Thompson both have Chesnaught, I'm guessing Suzy Myers as she voices Chespin.--BigDocFan (talk) 20:42, 18 July 2017 (UTC)
Episode airing times
I noticed that you unmasked the major events that happened in SM035 before the episode finished airing. As a general rules, things that happen during the initial airings don't get changed until after the whole episode has finished. Playerking95 (talk) 16:49, 27 July 2017 (UTC)
- I apologize, having watched an episode air live on youtube I didn't realize so jumped the gun.--BigDocFan (talk) 16:51, 27 July 2017 (UTC)
Stolen content
You have previously been warned on the Bulbagarden Archives about stealing images from other fan sites, but do note that Bulbapedia does not tolerate the stealing of content from other fan sites in any form, including but not limited to images and plot summaries. Copying information from other fan sites is called plagiarism. Taking another fan site's plot summary is considered plagiarism. Taking another fan site's plot summary and switching up a few words here and there is still considered plagiarism. If you want to write up a plot summary, it must be done from scratch and in your own words. Just like we don't want other fan sites to steal our content, we don't want our users to be stealing other fan sites' content. Please be aware and respectful of our policies so that a similar case does not arise. Thank you. --Carmen★ (Talk | contribs) 16:12, 8 August 2017 (UTC)
- Noted and taken as a final warning, last thing I want is to be blocked from a brilliant wiki like Bulbapedia.--BigDocFan (talk) 16:14, 8 August 2017 (UTC)
Please
Could you please refrain from making edits that relate to an episode before it finishes. Playerking95 (talk) 10:34, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
- Need to try and contain my excitement, able to watch episodes as they air live on youtube and am keen to contribute more, I'll be more careful in future.--BigDocFan (talk) 16:28, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
- That's alright, I did something similarly with SM033, where I forgot about the rule. I was so happy that Lana's Popplio finally got a new move. I guess quite a few of us need to contain our excitement. Also, when you add moves in the future, could you also add the description, otherwise it seems kind of lacklustre, you know what I mean? - I've had that problem as well. I'm not sure why results aren't showing up.--Rahl (talk) 18:15, 12 August 2017 (UTC)
- It's an unintentional consequence of Bulbagarden's transfer to https. According to Talk:Main Page#What links here, the staff are aware and working on getting it fixed. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 18:45, 12 August 2017 (UTC)
- I've had that problem as well. I'm not sure why results aren't showing up.--Rahl (talk) 18:15, 12 August 2017 (UTC)
Hey
We also don't create character pages in advance for characters of the day, even if it's on a user page. Just create it after SM040 airs. Playerking95 (talk) 15:18, 23 August 2017 (UTC)
- My bad, might as well keep for now and move it when it does air now I've created it.--BigDocFan (talk) 15:19, 23 August 2017 (UTC)
- User pages are usually create by people who wish for them to be main spaced or who think they are important enough to get a page under a user, so creating one for a character who we know nothing about or if the character will appear again is kind of weird. Do you get what I mean? Playerking95 (talk) 15:24, 23 August 2017 (UTC)
Character pages
Hey. Please don't create pages for anime characters unless you have some info to add. This is really too barebones. Redlinks aren't necessarily a bad thing. It's better to have a redlink than a page that contains almost nothing. ☼ BlazingFist ☼ 12:50, 8 September 2017 (UTC)
Episode Plots
The plot you wrote are awesome. Sometimes however, the sentence you wrote are too long and difficult to read. Just like when you read, too long of a sentence takes the breath out of you. "When", "As", "Because" are some phrases you often use to join these sentences but making them too long. If I make sense. XD
An example would be "Inside the school grounds, Ash asks Rotom what kind of Pokémon live on Akala Island but as Rotom does a search, he is hit by a Tauros which sends him flying as Charizard lands in front of Tauros to stop him as its trainer and Kiawe arrive with Kiawe telling Charizard to keep holding on as his classmates look on as Ash lands on the ground."
You can instead write it as "Inside the school grounds, Ash asks Rotom what kind of Pokémon live on Akala Island (period) As Rotom does a search, he is hit by a Tauros which sends him flying (period) As Charizard lands in front of Tauros to stop him, its Trainer and Kiawe arrive (period) Kiawe tells Charizard to keep holding on as his classmates look on as Ash lands on the ground (period)"
This is so much more comfortable to read. Haha, you can what I mean? — Ruixiang95 11:29, 19 September 2017 (UTC)
- And here was me worrying that the sentences I was right were too short. Noted for future reference.--BigDocFan (talk) 14:19, 19 September 2017 (UTC)
- Agreed. The sentences are overly long and can benefit from being split off into multiple sentences. Also, I think I might've seen some grammatical errors along the way, but I cannot recall any specific examples. Whatever the case, I gave up trying to improve the plot of SM030 and tagged it, along with other episodes' plot sections you had a significant amount of contributions to, with a cleanup template. Hopefully you and/or other users can resume where I left off. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 03:49, 20 September 2017 (UTC)
A Theory on Clemont's Heliolisk's voice
Hey BigDoc, I have something I want to share with you, and It's about Clemont's Heliolisk. We now it was voiced by Ryan William Downey, but I think it previous might have been voiced by Tom Wayland. On your page for him, it mentions Ryan joined the series during season 18, which makes sense as all his characters appeared in season 18 or after that, EXCEPT Clemont's Heliolisk (who first appeared in season 17). And if it was someone else, there would be no reason to recast them (the only other actor who left in season 18 was Jennifer Forziati-DaCosta). Super10ZX (talk) 17:26, 7 October 2017 (UTC)
- As far as I can tell, S18 was Downey's debut unless I'm mistaken, Tom Wayland could have voiced Heliolisk before he was sacked but sadly this can't be confirmed.--BigDocFan (talk) 22:43, 6 November 2017 (UTC)
Preview button
Please make sure to use the preview button, even when adding multiple images to a section. I'm sure you're excited to back on the wiki again, but this shouldn't take 10 edits. --Abcboy (talk) 11:37, 4 January 2018 (UTC)
- I can only apologize Sir, as you say I'm excited to be back on Bulbapedia, I do hope the images are satisfactory.--BigDocFan (talk) 11:39, 4 January 2018 (UTC)
- Please use that preview button. I had to resize and re-position the new photos you added to the articles of Ash's traveling companions to make sure they don't interfere with other photos. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 23:22, 5 January 2018 (UTC)
Again. Use the preview button. If you're going over a large page or planning to touch multiple sections, use "edit this page" and do everything together. Tiddlywinks (talk) 14:24, 8 April 2018 (UTC)
Your new page
Hey BigDoc. So I see you are making your own Voice Actor predictions page. I'm perfectly okay with this, it will be nice to see another persons predictions! It wasn't even my original idea in the first place, it was based off pages other people made, but haven't changed in a long time. Super10ZX (talk) 16:16, 9 January 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks, hope you continue with your own page, will be nice to see how our predictions compare.--BigDocFan (talk) 16:17, 9 January 2018 (UTC)
Consecutive edits
I just need to remind you that you shouldn't be doing 9 or so consecutive edits with a short period of time. Playerking95 (talk) 15:26, 8 April 2018 (UTC)
Pre-airing edits
Hi. I want to let you know, I've been asking people not to hide information about an episode on any page except the episode page before it airs. So that means refraining from your edit here adding hidden templates for Nanu's Pokemon that were expected for SM073/74. That hidden info has just now resulted in a minor edit war, and that's a pattern that has happened several times previously as well. As far as I'm concerned, that all adds up to more of a hassle than it's otherwise worth. It'll be much cleaner if people just add the info fully and with much less room for argument once the episode airs.
So, please confine pre-airing edits of hidden information to an episode's page. Thank you. Tiddlywinks (talk) 15:44, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
- I understand and started removing some of the edits but have made a copy of them to be posted when the episode airs.--BigDocFan (talk) 15:45, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
- I just noticed a bit of that. I appreciate it, thanks. Tiddlywinks (talk) 15:49, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
Where's the source?
Where's the source for the latest titles? Playerking95 (talk)
- No idea, saw the titles added to other pages so just copied them over. Just checked the forums, Apple TV Show/Episode Universal Search--BigDocFan (talk) 11:41, 29 April 2018 (UTC)
Episode titles
A little heads-up, please remember to italicize episode titles and provide links to the articles. You seemed to know what you were doing before so I don't know why I had to apply those corrections this time. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 20:26, 18 May 2018 (UTC)
- My bad, thought as they were listed above, I didn't have to--BigDocFan (talk) 20:28, 18 May 2018 (UTC)
- It seems to be a given given all the other articles I've seen and read. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 20:29, 18 May 2018 (UTC)
Main anime images
If you are going to replace an anime image on a species article, please replace it with an image that shows the Pokémon's full body and the Pokémon being the focus of the image. An image of the Pokémon in a distance is not going to cut it. Thank you.--ForceFire 15:25, 9 June 2018 (UTC)
- Again, the main images must be a full body shot, not just a shot of its head or whatnot. Full body, and center of the image. Also, you don't need to literally update the images to the most recent appearance, which is what I feel you are doing. Unless there's a centered, full body shot in a recent episode, it does not need to be updated.--ForceFire 05:35, 18 June 2018 (UTC)
SM081
Where are the Chansey and Raichu in SM081? Playerking95 (talk) 11:43, 5 July 2018 (UTC)
- radek.tadajewski.7 from the forums spotted them in the crowd and asked me to add them.--BigDocFan (talk) 11:46, 5 July 2018 (UTC)
- I've looked through every crowd shot and I can only see a Blissey and no Chansey or Raichu. Could the user provide an image? Playerking95 (talk) 11:53, 5 July 2018 (UTC)
- They can be seen in the preview of this episode, so does the episode itself. His words, not mine.--BigDocFan (talk) 12:02, 5 July 2018 (UTC)
- You should go and verify this yourself BigDocFan, rather than believing everything one user says.--ForceFire 13:13, 5 July 2018 (UTC)
- Nah, they're there. Playerking95 (talk) 13:15, 5 July 2018 (UTC)

Voice actor articles
Next time you decide to create a VA article or move a userspace page about a VA, you need to use this as a template. Keep this in mind for next time. Thank you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 19:41, 13 August 2018 (UTC)
- Please do not disregard this next time you choose to create a new VA article. It's highly important that every VA article follows this basic format. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 06:20, 18 August 2018 (UTC)
Kenyu Horiuchi
Could you undo your latest edit to that page. As I said in another edit summary, the official source only mentions Samson. Here: http://www.tv-tokyo.co.jp/anime/pokemon_sunmoon/news/ Playerking95 (talk) 14:29, 5 September 2018 (UTC)
Permission to mainspace
GrammarFreak is not a staff member, you shouldn't be asking him if a userpage can be mainspaced. You should be asking anyone on the Staff list, preferably the head of anime abcboy. Thank you.--ForceFire 12:21, 16 September 2018 (UTC)
- My bad, he has been a help with previous pages so was asking for his help to get it ready.--BigDocFan (talk) 12:24, 16 September 2018 (UTC)
VA articles
Could you hold back on creating anymore VA articles, or at least make them in your userspace instead? Most of your recent articles are of questionable notability. Kenta Kamakari may have voiced a recurring character for more than one episode, but really, DJ Leo is only important to one of those episodes he appeared in, so in essence he only "appeared" (read: did something of note) once. Thank you.--ForceFire 15:06, 18 September 2018 (UTC)
Ryota Iwasaki
Ryota Iwasaki is definitely not going to cut it as a notable VA to make an article on. Of all the characters he voices, Mr. Elec is the most notable but he only appeared in one episode. I highly recommend going to Bulbapedia:Project VA for further reference. Keep the userspace article, though; Mr. Elec might reappear in the future. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 03:30, 20 September 2018 (UTC)
Mystical/TvRage
As a reply, I am not TvRage, or whoever that is. Just to clarify. (I'm surprised my username wasn't claimed by now.) -Mystical (talk) 7:05, 21 September 2018 (EST)
Sharpedo
I noticed you're the one who uploaded the "Sharpedo in the anime" image. It is a small detail, but you chose one where its design was wrongly drawn (see the pectoral fin? It's in a dark cyanish color, it should be white). Could you, please, find an appropriate image? ExLight (talk) 02:21, 27 September 2018 (UTC)
- EDIT: Nevermind, it was actually Playerking95. If you have a better image it would be great tho. ExLight (talk) 16:52, 30 September 2018 (UTC)
Using MAL filmographies
I understand you're making sure the filmographies don't look like the ones from MyAnimeList before your userspace VA articles are mainspaced. But I still suggest not completely using filmographies from MyAnimeList, for that could still constitute a copyright violation. Be more selective, if needs be. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 18:43, 28 October 2018 (UTC)
- Understood, guess imdb can be used as well.--BigDocFan (talk) 18:56, 28 October 2018 (UTC)
- Of course. But I will warn that IMDb can be easily edited by anyone, so some of the filmographies might not be too accurate. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 18:57, 28 October 2018 (UTC)
- Decided to delete most of the credits, last thing I want is compromising myself and Bulbapedia on copyright grounds. Do the credits listed look OK as they are?--BigDocFan (talk) 19:55, 28 October 2018 (UTC)
- Yeah, that looks good. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 20:11, 28 October 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks, hopefully Martha Harms will be worthy of mainspacing when she gets more confirmed roles. I suspect that among them are Officer Jenny which at present is to be confirmed.--BigDocFan (talk) 20:25, 28 October 2018 (UTC)
- We'll see. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 21:17, 28 October 2018 (UTC)

Images
Are you still planning on uploading anime evolution images? Seabiscuit2020 (talk) 02:34, 04 November 2018 (UTC)
- No, I received a message from Chosen saying The images you've been uploading for use in your User: space conflict with our policy against personal images. Feint Attack
Not to sound to mean and I know you like editing, as we all do, but please check before deleting a move and calling it something else. Annice Moriarty
hello I am currently working on fixing a mistake that has been made in regards to the Ugandan-American voice actress Annice Moriarty, a woman that some in the anime communities have mistaken for a similar sounding voice actress named Kether Donohue I'm wondering if you can help me migrate the page over to Annice Moriarty as they are not the same person at all. I've looked all over the internet, and I am unable to find any sources at all, even if she was not my sister. Can I ask for help in correcting this mistake? We actually did a parody of this on a youtube channel we created called Kether Ketchup, which was meant to make fun of the internet's mistake about Annie. I would deeply appreciate help in fixing this error, and would like to know what sources people claim to have so we can address them. thanks. African Vulture (talk) 04:20, 6 March 2019 (UTC)

Kether Donohue and Annice Moriarty
Hello I am going to make some edits based purely on two things:
- The knowledge that Annice Moriarty is most definitely not Kether Donohue, and
- The episode credits.
We know that both Donohue and Moriarty voice Lila, that was what Tom Wayland said. In fact it was Lila that was the source of the belief that Donohue and MOriarty were the same person, due to them both being credited and them both voicing the same character, albeit during different stages in her life. I will not add any biographic info on Ann. here's an easy way to gage my edits: If Kether Donohue's name appears in the episode, then we can credit her. If Annice Moriarty's name is there, then we must put Annice Moriarty.
I also want to remind you of something: I got 3 names for you:
- Allyson Johnson (Agatha)
- Kathleen Delaney (Rouge the Bat)
- Caren Manuel (previously believed to have voiced both Agatha and Rough due to her similar voice to Johnson and Delaney)
Remember that? That's the other reason why you have to be careful with pseudonyms. thanks. So my edits are based on the credits and what Wayland had actually said. thanks African Vulture (talk) 21:04, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
- I'm not getting involved with this, if admin approves it, then it is OK with me--BigDocFan (talk) 21:07, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
I don't know who is an admin. FF believes that MOriarty is a pseudony mdespite no proof existing, so I need you to be partly envolved due to your experience with voice actors.
Can you at least weigh in on the mistaken pseudonyms like the Agatha one? African Vulture (talk) 21:32, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
- Force Fire is an admin. BigDocFan isn't. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 21:34, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
Perhaps you guys do need to examine where it came from, that Annice Moriarty was Kether Donohue. It appears all your guys's efforts are punishing me, rather than maybe figuring out where this belief came from, like I am.
Yes it was uncontested for ages, so was Kathleen Delaney/Allyson Johnson/Caren Manuel.
I have been asking the same question over and over and over again with no answer, and it is quite frustrating. Where did you get the information from that Kether Donohue was Annice Moriarty?
I'm disregarding the fact that she is my sister, because I can't use that for sources.
However I can challenge Bulbapedia, and I am.
thanks.
African Vulture (talk) 22:07, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
- Okay, if the VA is your sister, then the more I cannot trust your information. There's this cloud of bias and unreliability hanging over your statement. This is why it's important for admins to make the final word. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 22:09, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
This doesn't mean that examination isn't in order. African Vulture (talk) 22:18, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
- Yes, which is why I said the admins need to examine it. That way, they can give the final word. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 22:19, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
But which admins should I talk to. Notice how with the Kappa Mikey thing on Kether Donohue I basically forced force fire to provide a source? I'm asking just for the same. If I see a source, then I examine it and decide to either give u por continue. I'm also trying to prevent another Caren Manuel thing too. Rosebr10, who helped reveal that isn't active anymore. African Vulture (talk) 22:23, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
- Force Fire and Abcboy are the only admins I know. And I don't know who you're talking about anymore. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 22:25, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
I will talk to them. To basically sum it up quickly, as I have to go for a bit, Agatha used to list Caren Manuel as her english VA. For Sonic, Manuel was credit for Rouge in 4kids. Later, it turned out that Kathleen Delaney did Rouge and Allyson Johnson did Agatha. that's the lowdown on that. I'll talk to the admins in a bit, I have to eat and I'm going bowling for a bit. thanks. African Vulture (talk) 22:30, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
- Okay. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 22:37, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
Update, I posted to Abcboy's page. On it I mentioned two other examples of long-held beliefs on Bulbapedia and other websites that got destroyed. Megan Hollingshead vs. Lee Quick (Officer Jenny]], and Megan Hollingshead vs. Emily Niebo (computer from Pokemon 2000). Both rolls (Officer Jenny and the palice computer) were credited both on and off Bulbapedia to Hollingshead, until it turned out (just like with Agatha and Rouge the Bat), that the long-held credit was incorrect. So be careful with pseudonyms if they are indeed pseudonyms, because it may turn out not to be a pseudonym after all. There has to be a way not just for administrators to identify where pseudonym information comes from, but also ordinary editors and readers, so they can say, "Ok, I know where they got that." I will also caution you about IMDB, Wikipedia doesn't like it, and when it comes to pseudonyms, there's no way to check where it gets the info from. thanks. African Vulture (talk) 01:19, 1 April 2019 (UTC)
pseudonym identifications
Hello The Annice Moriarty thing brings to light the issue of verification of pseudonyms. Fore example, nobody has identified where it is they got the idea that Annice Moriarty was a pseudonym of New York-born Caucasian voice actress Kether Donohue. Even though no source has been given for even the IMDB entries, it is still widely believed. However, nothing in the wayback machine of Kether's website shows anything.
What steps should Bulbapedia and other websites do to verify VA pseudonyms, in order to prevent cases like the Annice Moriarty/Kether Donohue or the Caren Manuel/Allyson Johnson/Kathleen Delaney incidents? I would like to see some concreet ideas in verifying tha tpseudonyms are true, rather than false.
E.G. if somebody claims "Kether Donohue did this roll under Annice Moriarty!", then they should have to prove that Kether Donohue used Annice Moriarty as a pseudonym. It shouldn't be a challenger like me saying "where's the proof?" having the burden of proof on them, as we only want to prevent potential mistakes. Let's say a pseudonym is true, E.G. John Smith uses David Jones as a pseudonym. How would we verify that John Smith and David Jones are the same person? What has been done to me would be the person coming along and saying, "hey, where did you get that John Smith and David Jones are the same person?" and Bulbapedia responding, "you better prove that David Jones is not John Smith or else consequences." In other words, we should assume that David Jones and John Smith are different people until a good source is able to be shown that says for sure that John Smith used David Jones.
How will we do this to prevent more Annice Moriartys or Caren Manuels? African Vulture (talk) 00:20, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
- This is something that is best left up to admin, not me. I'm trying not to get involved but if I was you, I would speak to Force Fire (talk • contribs) about it, post on his talk page and await a response before doing anything.--BigDocFan (talk) 08:05, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
Remember, I am not talking specifically about the Annice Moriarty thing, rather about pseudonym verification in general.
African Vulture (talk) 12:31, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
- I have experience dealing with voice actor pages, nothing about pseudonym's I admit but I always wait for admin to approve any information I have before adding it.--BigDocFan (talk) 13:16, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
Ok, but then the admin has to identify a source. and I have contacted Force Fire about a few things and either he hasn't seen them or is ignoring them. I don't know and I won't say either way. Hence why I hesitate to contact him again. I think we should identify a source for the specific claim about Annice Moriarty being Kether Donohue as I'm not the only one who brought this up on the internet. You have to be able to tell people where you get information from no matter how believable it is. We can use the Annice Moriarty case as an example to go by for future VA info such as pseudonyms. I also wish to remind you of the Megan Hollingshead thing, where people for the longest time thought she voiced Officer Jenny. Remember that? I did research into that and Lee Quick wasn't credited. That's another reason to once in a while go back and double check things, even if you feel there's no need to, and even if it is uncontested for a while. You never know, it may turn out to be unexpectedly incorrect, just like with Ann and just like with Megan Hollingshead. African Vulture (talk) 13:34, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
- All I can say is wait for admin to respond, last time you acted before waiting, the page was protected. If you think Force Fire is ignoring you, maybe confer with other admin about it--BigDocFan (talk) 13:38, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
I don't feel that FF is ignorning me, but I feel he just isn't seeing what I write. I like to view it that way so it's not so harsh. I mean being an admin is likely a busy thing. That said, should pseudonyms come up again, please have both you and an admin discuss where it came from. I suggest if you find pseudonyms, question them and confirm them. You add lots of awesome stuff about voice actors, and I am in love with your voice actor predictions page, it'sreally cool. So please, even if you don't comment on the Annice Moriarty case, it can be used as an example of why pseudonyms need verification. The proof has to be viewable for Bulbapedia's readers, so we can say, "ok you got it from here." I used to get flack on Wikipedia for adding unsourced material so I only ask that everybody else be held to the same standards as me. thanks. African Vulture (talk) 16:45, 11 April 2019 (UTC)

You really need to be careful when you're copying-and-pasting material. I notice you just copy-and-paste and then save without tweaking the pasted material so it could also accommodate other people's edits that were already being shown before you made the edits.
