(Japanese: 雪の日、カラカラのホネはどこ? Snow Day, Where is Karakara's Bone?) is the 15th episode of the new series, and the 1,100th episode of the Pokémon anime. It first aired in Japan on March 1, 2020.
Plot
The arrival of snow across Vermilion City is a rare event. Professor Sakuragi announces to Ash and Go that the Sakuragi Institute will have to close for several days as he tries to repair the network system. The Professor apologizes for the inconvenience and recommends the boys return home in the meantime. Go soon calls his parents to tell them he is coming home. Ash is surprised Go had to call his mom, and Go explains that his parents are both busy working at their own software engineering company, Gogo Systems.
The next day, Go and Ash prepare to part ways as they head home. While Ash plans to take the train, Go is only a bus ride from home. Scorbunny rushes Go's goodbye when it sees a passing bus, and Go drops the gift for his family in the process. Ash calls out to his friend, but the bus leaves off. Go and Scorbunny soon arrive at Go's family's apartment, making their way up to the seventh floor. He is greeted by his grandmother, Tome who invites him inside to enjoy a home cooked stew. Go presents his grandmother with some meat buns, which she replies will be great to share at her upcoming karaoke tournament. Tome prepares to leave for her tournament, assuring Go that she will return with the victory trophy.
Meanwhile, at Gogo Systems, Go’s parents, Kurune and Ikuo are working hard to get back home. While looking forward to seeing her son again, Kurune immediately fears Go must have been sent home for misbehaving. Ikou reminds her that they were often too busy working to spend snytime with Go, who would otherwise spend his days researching stuff on his computer. Kurune admits that Koharu is Go’s only friend of the same age. A call comes through, breaking up the conversation, and also delaying their return home. Kurune calls her son to apologize that they will be late, however the local hospital has suffered a system malfunction that requires urgent attention. Go admits he will be fine, especially with grandma’s stew ready. Kurune apologizes once again before hanging up. Go, however, is reminded of the other times his parents were too busy for work, much to Scorbunny’s concern. Go assures his partner Pokémon that his parents are great, and can tackle any task in no time at all. Seeing as his parent work so hard, Go decides that he will simply bring the stew over to them. As he prepares to leave with the thermos, he realizes the gift for his parents is missing from his bag. Go can’t remember where he put the gift, but is optimistic the stew will be enough.
Go and Scorbunny soon hit the road. They decide to take a shortcut through a local park, when they hear a distressed cry that catches their attentions. He pulls out his Rotom Phone as he watches a group of Mankey hassling a Cubone. Scorbunny immediately leaps into action, knocking two of the Mankey back with a few swift kicks. Cubone tries to take a swing at the third one, only to have its Bone Club knocked and snatched away by the Mankey. Scorbunny rushes after the assailants, but the Mankey get away with the club in hand. Cubone begins crying for its bone, so Go offers his assistance in finding it. To help with the task, Go calls out his Butterfree, Beedrill, Scyther and Taillow. The Pokémon start shivering from the frigid conditions. Go calls for them to concentrate on finding Cubone’s bone and shows them a picture of Mankey for reference.
Meanwhile, Ash steps off the bus and makes his way to Go's apartment building. He dials "707" on the building intercom, but receives no answer. Ash decides to instead give Go a call, and soon meets him in the park to help with the search. Aware of Mankey's crafty behaviour, Ash sets a Nanab Berry as bait for the Pig Monkey Pokémon. The Berry lures the Mankey in, however Pikachu's Electroweb fails to snare any of them. Scorbunny uses Quick Attack to knock one down, Pikachu Thunderbolts another while Butterfree uses Stun Spore on the last Mankey. With the Mankey surrounded, Go demands they return Cubone's bone. The Mankey reply that they lost it somewhere, so the search continues into the evening. A breakthrough occurs when Butterfree befriends a passing Fearow. Following on, Ash calls out his Dragonite to carry him and Go into the air. The wild Fearow leads the parade of Flying types through the sky and to a lake, which Go's parents notice on their return from the urgent job. Fearow explains that the Mankey were playing around with the bone when they lost it in the lake below. Fearing the water will be cold, Go calls on his Ice-type Dewgong to search the lakebed. Dewgong soon returns with Cubone's bone, thrilling the Ground-type.
Go's parents arrive on the scene, admitting they were surprised to see their son flying through the sky earlier. Ash explains that they were trying to help Cubone find its bone. Kurune is pleasantly surprised to finally be meeting Ash for the first time, and she thanks him for taking care of her son. Hearing this, Ash smugly turns to Go, who looks away in embarrassment. Go also introduces his parents to some of his Pokémon, and surprisingly Cubone chirps in. Ash tells Go that it appears that Cubone also wants to be part of the team. Go asks if he can simply catch it, and Cubone agrees. With that, Go throws a Poké Ball into the air and easily catches Cubone. Go is thrilled with the latest addition, so he calls Cubone back out again. Pikachu and Scorbunny are equally as excited, happily greeting Cubone. Kurune says they should be getting home to dinner now. Go replies that he was actually on his way to bring them some stew, taking his parents by surprise. He admits he also had something else he wanted to give them. Ash remembers that Go dropped the gift after he rushed onto the bus earlier, and finally returns it to Go. Go is shocked by the gesture and thanks Ash for going out of his way to return it. Go gives his parents their gift, a set of gloves each which are perfect for the wintery conditions. Ash's stomach grumbles, so Go invites his friend to join the family for some stew. Ash happily takes up the offer.
Later grandmother Tome returns home with her golden trophy from the karaoke competition. While Ash starts performing a karaoke impression, Go's parents happily watch on as they son has gone on to make many good friends.

Trivia
- Get Inspired! Let's Solve a Poké Riddle!!: Cubone
- Despite Cubone having made its anime debut in The School of Hard Knocks, 1,091 episodes earlier, this is the first time it has received a Pokédex entry in the anime, if the dub narration from Pikachu's Vacation is not counted.
- Despite Go catching Cubone while having six Pokémon in his current party, Cubone's Poké Ball isn't transported away, like in Mystery at the Lighthouse; or sealed, like in the Best Wishes series.
- While Ash and Go interrogate the three Mankey, one of them covers its ears, another covers its mouth, and the third covers its eyes, referencing the three wise monkeys.
- Pikachu, Ash, Go, and a Gengar narrate the preview for the next episode.
- At the end of the preview, the next episode's title gradually drips down, reflecting the title's horror theme.
