Since it's been referred to as "No Eggs Discovered" in all of the guides since HGSS, even as of SwSh, it's likely that Pokédex 3D had some character/formatting limit. "No Eggs Discovered" should be treated as the proper name. --Abcboy (talk) 04:50, 9 January 2020 (UTC) | Since it's been referred to as "No Eggs Discovered" in all of the guides since HGSS, even as of SwSh, it's likely that Pokédex 3D had some character/formatting limit. Hoopa here is just listed as Hoopa Confined despite both forms being in the group. Someone should fix that but I don't know how. Pseudonym (talk) 03:55, 19 April 2020 (UTC) |

Nidorina/Nidoqueen placement
First of all, something I never knew: [taken from the page 'egg group'] "Another oddity is that, despite being in the No eggs group, Nidorina and Nidoqueen are able to breed with Ditto." Shouldn't that be mentioned on this page, perhaps in the trivia? [or do I have a wooden eye and just don't see it... yikes!] Another thing: should Nidorina and Nidoqueen be added to the 'gender unknown' group, since Ditto is the only one they are capable of breeding with, like the other 'gender unknown' Pokémon? Naturally there'd be a conflict of 'but you do know their gender?' but is it any more logical than 'they cannot lay eggs but they can'... Sometimes I think Nintendo just forgot Nidorina and Nidoqueen and then didn't want to fix it because that would have been admitting to a mistake. Sipulichu 17:19, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- It's mentioned in the trivia and the description. And no, they're staying here. They were listed here with Stadium 2, which is why the Gender unknown "egg group" even exists in the first place: Stadium 2 marked it as such, despite it not really even being programmed in, just a bunch of genderless Pokémon that could bang a Ditto. Where did the name come from?
If I recall correctly, Pokémon stadium called this egg group the "No Eggs" group. Since when are you calling it the "undiscovered" group? 8:53 November 26 2011 (ET)
Are there cheaters among us?
Where the hell did you get the amount of steps for baby or legendary Pokemon? I mean, this information is simply useless for players who don´t want to cheat (not that I am one ;). But another question is: What about Pokemon like Reshiram? It needs 30855 steps to hatch, but in B/W there is no step counter. WHO would sit down and count every f*cking step until it hatches? -Kyurem will eat you ^^)-Shadow Kyurem 13:02, 29 March 2012 (UTC)
- I guess that the step amounts can be found from the coding just like base stats and catch rates.--電禅Den Zen 13:13, 29 March 2012 (UTC)
Keldeo's second form
Keldeo has two forms but unlike the other legendary pokemon it only lists one of them. Grassman (talk) 13:26, 12 August 2012 (UTC)
- I don't know why forms are even included in this table. Forms have nothing to do with breeding and it's a waste of space to include them, much less for legendary Pokémon who can't even breed at all. --IWannaBeTheVeryBest 03:54, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
Fairies
Don't forget to add Fairy type for old Pokémon since it's Generation VI. Cinday123 (talk) 07:29, 10 November 2013 (UTC)
X and Y, 3 Full IVs
The article says "In Generation VI, all Pokémon in this group are guaranteed to have a perfect 31 in at least three of their individual values when caught in the wild. " However, on the Individual Value page, it says "If obtained in Generation VI, Pokémon in the Undiscovered (Egg Group) are now guaranteed to have values of 31 in at least three of their stats." This implies that the baby offspring of a Pokemon after being bred will also have 3 perfect IVs. However, the first sentence only says if it is obtained in the wild. Can someone confirm if a baby Pokemon from breeding will also have 3 perfect IVs? --Phoenixon (talk) 15:30, 19 April 2014 (UTC)
- I have a Wynaut hatched in Y that is "often lost in thought", so hatched Pokémon don't always have three perfect IVs.--電禅Den Zen 15:38, 19 April 2014 (UTC)
Egg cycles
Why members of undiscovered group have a egg cycle, since they cannot breed, especially the legendary pokemons?Robin Maximo (talk) 04:38, 2 June 2014 (UTC)
Question
Can someone explain to me why Nidorina and Nidoqueen can't breed? Maybe someone has some theories.--Dominikololo (talk) 21:26, 15 August 2014 (UTC)
- This is just hearsay, but someone who worked on the games supposedly revealed that Nidoran♀ loses the ability to breed upon evolving. —TheVeryBest 10:04, 17 August 2014 (UTC)
- That's not an explanation, that's just a statement of how the games currently work. --SnorlaxMonster 10:47, 17 August 2014 (UTC)
- A hidden note (in this article? I swear I saw it somewhere on Bulbapedia) says an old guide says NidoranF becomes infertile upon evolution. However, it's not confirmed to be true, hence why it's hidden. Eridanus (talk) 11:27, 17 August 2014 (UTC)
- As Eridanus said, I meant that it was in-game lore specific to Nidoran♀. Why would the staff member bother talking about it just to repeat what we already know? —TheVeryBest 21:49, 20 August 2014 (UTC)

Ash-Greninja
Currently, the list just says "Greninja". I looked in the code, and it says "Ash-Greninja" where it should, but it still isn't working. Someone who knows more than I do should probably take a look. AmoongussForLife (talk) 00:39, 7 December 2016 (UTC)
