Release information
In Japan, this card was available as a Jumbo Unnumbered Promotional card on an insert in the August 1999 issue of Bessatsu CoroCoro Comic Special, released on June 30, 1999.
Trivia
- The text on the top right of the card border reads: "Movie "Pikachu's Rescue Adventure" special jumbo card." As a Jumbo card, it cannot be used at official tournaments.
- The text on the bottom of the card border features the Bessatsu CoroCoro Special logo and reads: "Bessatsu CoroCoro Comic August issue supplement." The 1999 Pikachu the Movie logo is present in place of an expansion symbol.
