Rodger Parsons

Rodger Parsons is an American voice actor for the English-language dub of the Pokémon anime. From seasons one through six, he was credited as Ken Gates. His name is also often spelled

Biography

Parsons was born on October 19, 1943. He is a graduate of New York University and holds a BFA degree in Television, Motion Pictures, Radio. Parsons was one of the original voice actors on Pokémon and the original narrator. He left halfway through the sixth season, but returned when Pokémon USA and TAJ Productions took over the dubbing and distribution of the series.
