Release information
This Tretta was awarded as a consolation prize at the Challenge! Mega Strong! Mega Evolution Battle event to players who did not manage to defeat Mega Mewtwo X or Mega Mewtwo Y. The event took place at Makuhari Messe, Chiba on June 28 and 29, 2014. All participants were also given one of five possible Mega Stones at random to be used with the interactive Pokémon Mega Ring, and a Mega Stone Encyclopedia Art Board. The five stones available were Absolite, Lucarionite, Charizardite Y, Charizardite X, and Garchompite. It was awarded again in the same manner at several later events. Details of these events are as follows:
- As part of the Pokémon Center Summer Festival in Centrair, held at the Chūbu Centrair International Airport, Nagoya from July 19 to 21, 2014, and on August 23 and 24, 2014.
- As part of Kids Game Festa 2014 Summer, which was held at several locations across Japan between July 26 and September 7, 2014.
- As part of the Ciao Summer Festival, held at the Kobe International Exhibition Hall, Kobe on July 27, 2014, and at Pacifico Yokohama, Yokohama on August 9 and 10, 2014.
- At the Tohoku Children's Expo, Sendai on October 12 and 13, 2014.
- As part of the Shōwa Autumn Festival, held at several locations in Gunma Prefecture on October 5, 2014.
- At two venues hosting the Pokémon Card Game Battle Festa 2014: Sunshine City Bunka Kaikan, Tokyo on the weekend of November 1–2, 2014, and at Intex Osaka, Osaka on November 16, 2014.
- As part of the Pokémon Center Autumn Pokémon Tretta Event, which hosted the Challenge! Mega Strong! Mega Evolution Battle from November 8 to 16, 2014.
- At LALA Garden Tsukuba, Ibaraki on November 23, 2014.
- At the Mibu Toy Complex Charity Bazaar, Mibu on December 13 and 14, 2014.
- At Tecmopia Paltelon in Utsunomiya on January 12, 2015.
This Tretta was available again as part of the Trophy Pokémon Torretta Present Campaign, which took place at participating Pokémon Centers and Pokémon Stores across Japan on December 12, 13, 19, 20, 23, 26 and 27, 2015. Visitors who played at least 1 game of Pokémon Tretta or purchased 1 eligible item of Pokémon Tretta merchandise were given 1 of 6 Trophy Tretta at random.
