The illustration pays homage to the 17th century nikuhitsu-ga, a painting in the ukiyo-e art style, "Beauty Looking Back" by Hishikawa Moronobu. The image was first used on Japanese stamps issued in 1948. Trading Places is an attack that first appeared on Azelf from Plasma Blast. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Shield.
